Dr. Tony Nobles decorated his home along with five others in the 8600 block of Tern Ave. with life-size Star Wars characters, vehicles and more, making the neighborhood look more like a Hollywoodbacklot.
The $250,000 project included displays featuring Chewbacca, Han Solo, R2-D2, AT-AT’s, X-Wings and a Death Star that covered an entire house.
Lighting, sound effects and music brought the massive display to life.
Nobles, who came from humble beginnings, says he likes seeing all the smiles outside his home.
“When I look out and see thousands of people sitting out in front of my house it feels really cool,” Nobles said.
Nobles, a brain surgeon and inventor, does this every year with a new theme.
“Because I love kids, enjoy life and want to make it fun for everyone.”
As for next year, Nobles says the theme will be Haunted Fairy Tales, which is his wife’s idea.
