Every year, this Fountain Valley neighborhood (located off Magnolia and Nightingale) goes all out for Halloween, impressively decorating a stretch of houses with a specific theme. Last year, it was Star Wars, this year, the now infamous neighborhood drew hundreds and hundreds with a fairy tale theme.

As reported last year, the man in charge of it all is an actual brain surgeon, Dr. Tony Nobles. The neighborhood comes together and spends as much as 80 hours every week in the month of October to plan and create. . . for just one night. Rumor has it, next year’s theme will be the Wizard of Oz. Check out photos after the jump.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. ( KTLA) — The force was strong in oneFountain Valley neighborhood this Halloween after it was transformed into a giant Star Wars display.

Dr. Tony Nobles decorated his home along with five others in the 8600 block of Tern Ave. with life-size Star Wars characters, vehicles and more, making the neighborhood look more like a Hollywoodbacklot.

The $250,000 project included displays featuring Chewbacca, Han Solo, R2-D2, AT-AT’s, X-Wings and a Death Star that covered an entire house.

Lighting, sound effects and music brought the massive display to life.

Nobles, who came from humble beginnings, says he likes seeing all the smiles outside his home.

“When I look out and see thousands of people sitting out in front of my house it feels really cool,” Nobles said.

Nobles, a brain surgeon and inventor, does this every year with a new theme.

“Because I love kids, enjoy life and want to make it fun for everyone.”

As for next year, Nobles says the theme will be Haunted Fairy Tales, which is his wife’s idea.
